THE MILLER'S HOUSE
The Miller's House (aka the Browning House) was built some time between 1840 and 1860.

When Bill was a kid, this house was filled with dozens of relatives, young and old, who relished this step back in time. They played board games by the fireplace, celebrated holidays, birthdays and reunions... all while taking sun showers, using the wash basin, slop bucket... and even the Johnny House (until it filled up!).

It fell into disrepair and 11 years ago, Bill and I moved to Virginia to start bringing this property back to life. And now we're bringing together friends, family and guests to enjoy this special property.
We've worked hard to maintain most of it's original features like the horsehair plaster walls and the woodburning fireplaces. Even with the addition of high-speed internet and electricity, it's still like stepping back in time.
