Finding & Tasting Virginia Passionflower
We’re finishing our late-season field clean-up and Bill spotted these Passionflower scattered on the ground. And in yet another first for me at Jolly’s Mill Pond, I’m suspiciously trying it. The purple passionflower ( Passiflora incarnata ), also known as maypop, is a native vine of Virginia that you’ll find in sunny, open areas like field edges and roadsides.
