Step Back in Time with Our Culinary Heritage Demo by Jolly’s Mill Pond

 

Join us in Gauthier Vineyard’s Wine Library for a unique educational experience. It explores the Black and Indigenous culinary history of Jolly’s Mill Pond and our foodway.

 

The Taste History demo includes:

•          The history of Johnny Cakes, a cornmeal pancake originally created by Native Americans

•          Fresh 19th Century cheesemaking, and

•          A glass of one of Gauthier’s heritage Virginian Wines

 

Taste History is led by Jolly’s Mill Pond’s Culinary Director, Justin Diaz.
