With support from people like you, Jolly’s Mill Pond will be able to preserve this historic landscape and tell the story of all Americans, slave, indentured, and free for generations to come.

Your support will help us:

  • Produce a documentary series of the unique history of the Pond, the Mill, and the people who labored here.

  • Create an educational program for k – 12 students illustrating how slaves created the dam, how free blacks found employment here, and how the mill was the heart of the community.

  • Start an archeological excavation of the mill site

  • Preserve the dam and the pond for future generations

  • And finally rebuild the mill!

Thank You,
